One of England's outstanding viewpoints. It is possible to survey an area which includes as many as thirteen
counties and as far as the Welsh mountains and beyond. Amongst others it has been a country retreat for
the Pre-Raphaelite artists, notably the artist, designer, writer, craftsman, and socialist William Morris.
